Please only enter the telehealth room for your scheduled provider and at your scheduled appointment time.
Once you enter the room, stay on the telehealth screen and wait for your provider to admit you.
Before Your Telehealth Visit
-
Consent for video telehealth services must be completed before participating in a telehealth appointment.
For new patients, telehealth consent is included with your new patient paperwork. Please review and sign the consent before your first video appointment.
If you have questions about your consent or are unsure whether it has been completed, please contact Nova Health before your appointment.
-
For your privacy and to help you get the most from your appointment:
Choose a private, quiet location.
Use a reliable internet connection.
Make sure your device has a working camera and microphone.
Limit interruptions and background noise.
Do not participate while driving or operating a vehicle.
-
Click your provider's Enter Telehealth Room button above.
Once you enter the room:
Stay on the telehealth screen and wait for your provider to admit you.
Your provider may be completing another appointment and will connect with you as soon as they are available.
⚠️ Please Do Not Leave the Waiting Screen
After entering the virtual waiting room, remain on that screen until your provider admits you to the appointment.
If you navigate away from or leave the telehealth screen, your provider may be unable to see that you are waiting or admit you into the appointment.
If you accidentally leave, return to this page, select your provider, and re-enter the virtual waiting room.
About Your Telehealth Reminders
-
You may receive multiple appointment reminders by text message before your scheduled telehealth visit.
Telehealth appointment reminders and links may be sent through Tebra using an internal messaging phone number. This number is separate from Nova Health's primary office phone number.
Don't recognize the number?
That's okay. Because Tebra sends these messages from a separate number, your phone may identify the message as an unknown sender or potentially display it as spam.
If the message corresponds with a telehealth appointment you have scheduled with Nova Health, it may be an automated Tebra appointment reminder.
You do not have to rely on the text message to access your appointment. You can always return to this page and select your provider's telehealth room above.
Important: Please continue to use Nova Health's regular office contact information for questions, scheduling, medication requests, or other communication. The number used to deliver automated Tebra reminders is not a replacement for the Nova Health office number.
-
Before contacting the office, try the following:
Confirm that you selected the correct provider.
Make sure your internet connection is working.
Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone.
Make sure you have remained on the virtual waiting-room screen.
If you accidentally exited, use the link above to re-enter.
Try closing and reopening the telehealth link if you experience a connection problem.
If you are still unable to connect, please contact the Nova Health office for assistance.
-
Telehealth appointments and electronic messages are not emergency services.
If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are experiencing a mental health or suicide-related crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
