With a foundation in family practice, Dr. Baweja has provided medical services in psychiatric and addiction rehabilitation settings, bridging the gap between physical and mental health. Her extensive clinical background includes roles as an emergency department nurse, psychiatric nurse, and sexual assault nurse examiner. These experiences shape her holistic and trauma-informed approach to patient care.

Dr. Baweja is board certified in family practice through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also holds advanced certifications in addiction medicine (CARN-AP), emergency nursing (CEN), and sexual assault nursing (SANE-A).
